A wet afternoon after I had been doing a charity collection. the place is Tebay Services on the M6 just past Kendal in Cumbria. Probably the best motorway food in the UK. This is a family owned Service area. I think it is the only one in the UK. It had been dry for my shift but changed just as I finished. The guy in the yellow jumper is from the charity. The charity? "Marie Curie Cancer Care" of course.
It's so Yummy we call it the piggery. If you're ever in Coniston visit. P.S. I do not have shares in this establishment.
Doing excellent work in the north-west. 6 Linear accelerators kept very busy serving cancer patients from the surrounding area. Manned by a dedicated group of staff always cheerful and positive.
The tallest peak overlooking Coniston Water, in the Lake district known as The Old Man. Surprising how quickly the weather can change. an hour before this was bright sunshin.
