Fuzzy memory

My storage card's memory's a little fuzzy, but I think this is a picture of a recovering sea turtle in a kiddie pool reflected in a mirror hanging over the pool at an angle. This is all I could recover of this shot when my memory card's file tables went corrupt.
I'd be more upset about this but I'm fully aware how often this happens to my own memories. And that's leaving out how my own internal storage inventively redraws and colors in missing bits with a ham-handed crayon, as if I wouldn't notice.
It's like one of the kids getting at the liquor bottles and replacing the booze they stole with water. If it's just the cheap rotgut, I'd thank them. But it's hard not to notice when it's the good stuff being watered down....
