Crayfish 'Tipping'

This unpleasant mess appeared to be someone's failed attempt at farming crayfish, which they subsequently discarded at a local beauty spot between the canal and the Great Ouse river. I came across this a few weeks back when we were moored above the ruins of St Peter's Church at Linford Lakes north of Milton Keynes.
