,dunstable downs
He spent a long time waiting - i assume - for the wind to be just right. In a flash he had turned, got the thing up in the air, then turned back and started running against the wind. Just like that he was up in the air. Amazing.
Did you dabble then, hari?
I used to, a long time ago. It's enormous fun, but it does involve lots of sitting on cold hillsides waiting for the weather to be right. In the end I decided that mountain biking was the sport for me, but who knows, one day I might get airborne again, time and money allowing.
nice feel to this shot
hari - here's wishing you the time, money, energy and inclination to do both ....and continue with the photography too
Love the light and colours and brightness of this and the last shot .....
great shot nige. and being the reckless individual that I am I still fancy base jumping myself
Do like this! I love the idea, too, though jumping off high things might just freak me out.
