There's something about the blue packaging combined with the colours of the sushi that make all of this seem quite Mondrian-esque.
The previous sentence just proved that I am a complete fucking geek. Wow.
I love the way they have to put SUSHI on it in big fucking letters, because the vast majority of people around here would go "what the fuck is that?!
(small town, middle of nowhere)
Tescos has had sushi for a while now. And its not too bad either.
Although M&S; has the best store bought sushi.
I think they just have SUSHI on the shelf edge so that when you're in a larger store, and faced with a vast array of lunchtime foods, you can easily spot what you're looking for in the scrum.
At least that's how it seems to work in the Tesco near my work.
I'm a fan of the Boots sushi. It's not particularly good, but it's in the meal deal. Big sushi plus Innocent Smoothie plus chocolate brownie for £2.99, a saving of £3.
Explain to me what an Innocent Smoothie is, cause that just sounds *entirely wrong*.
Innocent Smoothies are the best thing on the face of the earth. Completely all natural smoothie in a carton. The only thing better is making it yourself.
And Teflon the little tesco near my work in the same. They have the big blue labels for sandwiches too.
Also rather pricey. They're £2.05 in the work canteen, which is why it's good that you can get them in the aforementioned meal deal at Boots :)
Yea I paid £3 the other day for a big carton. But it was worth it.
£3 for a big carton? That's trememndous value when you compare it to the little bottles.
I was jsut about to post that Chris :o)
Yea I know Teflon, that's why i don't mind shelling out for it occassionally as a treat for myself. btw, the detox honey/lemon/ginger one is fantastic.
the boots near my work wont always ler you have an innocent smoothie in the meal deal, even though it says "any drink". :(
That's mean of them! | think you ought to phone the bananaphone and report them.
being a salad/fruit dodger of the highest order, I've never tried one, Shoes swears by them though.
Joe: They're tasty, and quite sweet, so it doesn't even feel like you're being healthy. See also: Innocent Juicy Waters.
They seem to have disappeared from Boots of late, sadly. Very tasty. though.
I'll have a look in tescos and the boots near work. They sound like something to try.
