The light was going fast when I took these two photo's whilst out walking with Gunner. You can see him looking for a squirrel to bark at in the trees overlooking the towpath.
The Macclesfield Canal has some great views and trails to walk as well as some out of the way moorings which suit us just fine. It's great to watch and hear owls hunting in the twilight and to see the deep blue skies this time of year as the sun drops over the horizon. I've got a star map out to get reaquainted with the nightsky during these long winter nights too. There isn't a lot of light pollution to spoil the view either. It's so much better than watching TV!
