Maaaaate! My heart's bleeding for the tough life you're living. ;-) Makes me seriously consider that trip to the west just to feel the white sand under foot.

So what's the excuse you call 'work' to be out in such a beautiful place?

Maaaaate, this particular beach has the whitest and coarsest sand I have ever seen. So coarse you can clean your feet, by just walking on it. Walk on it too much in bare feet and they'll get tender.

We were doing a plant survey. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it:)

So how far from Cable Beach is this place? And is it accessible by car?

This is part of Sunday Island, 240km from Cable Beach and a 45 minute boat ride thats generally not available to the public.

I'm planning to make about three trips next year. If you want, you can come as an expert in communication for the rangers guys:)

Hey JL, as we speak I'm planning that snap inspection of BRoome! ;-) Tired and worn out from restructure crap so coming over for some serious sun, water (pool not beach- don't like irikanji!) and pearl shoping. Any time available for a coffee, week after next?

I'll be going to Kooljaman resort on Monday afternoon, back Wednesday afternoon. Anytime around those dates are good.

Arriving late Saturday and departing Wed evening so looks like I'll miss you. Shame but that's what I get for short notice. NEver mind. Kooljaman resort looks lovely but I'm not much good at the camping thing so will leave you to tell all afterwards. :-)
