helen says:

Seth at the Watering Hole looking a bit sweaty...

29th Jun 2008, 19:48

babs says:

glowing,

he's glowing.

29th Jun 2008, 20:45

babs says:

Ooooooooooo everybody , the album's out today . I might drive into York after school and dash into hmv. It's all very exciting.
*jiggles.

oh, but wait, some of you already have it.

*imagines jen catching her breath as she carefully extracts the little circle of plastic and places it with due reverence in the thing wot she plays her cds in.

*unless she has already done so.

30th Jun 2008, 07:56

helen says:

Yep the album is brill - have you got it yet?
Maybe he is glowing, luminous perhaps? Don't mind sweaty though - shows he's putting the effort in
*trying to ignore smug voice in head screaming I have a signed album

30th Jun 2008, 19:52

jen says:

*doesn't ignore voice in head screaming I've got a signed album*
As soon as I got onto the Hoe, it was in my cd walkman (yes I can't afford an i-pod) and I sat there happily jiggling along. And then listened to it on the bus journey home still jiggling though surrounded by lots of people. (I have no shame sometimes!)
very happy, as I got a picture!
*grins*

30th Jun 2008, 20:18

helen says:

You got a picture!!!!!
OMG how?
No no I'm happy with my signed album, must not be jealous
*aagh sob

30th Jun 2008, 20:38

babs says:

...for heavens sake woman , pull yourself together.

I have neither a signed album, a picture ,or memories of an evening on a beach listen to songs from a none signed album .
and I'm not jealous.

Bitter and twisted maybe, but not jealous.

30th Jun 2008, 21:11

jen says:

*mumbles*
well, I went to the album signing today and my friends were kind enough to do the deeds....
babs, the best way to sort out bitter and twistedness is to get some sugar, stir it into some water or beverage to make you sweet, and then use an iron to sort out the twisted part.

30th Jun 2008, 22:20

babs says:

*sets iron to steam setting.

it worked jen, it worked.

(0;

Oooooops, my skin's coming off.
is that supposed to happen?

1st Jul 2008, 08:19

jen says:

did you put it on the cotton or wool setting?

*gets some ointment for skin peelage*
hm, not working...right
*gets out subtle knife and cuts through to lyra's world, gets some bloodmoss*
*puts bloodmoss on babs peeling skin*
there we go, should heal up nicely now. (if you don't know what I'm on about, I referring to Philip Paulmans' Dark materials)

1st Jul 2008, 21:19

babs says:

I have some dark materials.
I made cushion covers with it.

arm feels better now jen thankyou.
I had it on cotton setting. will opt for the skin setting next time.
only just spotted it on dial.
next to curly leaf lettuce setting.

2nd Jul 2008, 08:25

jen says:

yes, those settings seem to hide themselves quite well. I think they have to be unlocked (like in games and stuff).
*wants cushions for some strange reason*
*checks babs arm*
looks better now.

2nd Jul 2008, 10:05

babs says:

*hurridly gathers dark materials to make cumfy cushions for jen.

you're right, if you do a couple of tops it unlocks the "srunched up piece of paper from a far recess of your pocket" setting .

not sure if this morning's tele interview tshirt hadn't had a quick wizz over on the cotton setting.
That would be Adam.

As if he didn't have enough to do already.

2nd Jul 2008, 13:00

jen says:

Poor old adam is a rushed fellow! He should sit down and have a cup of tea and a sausage sandwich for himself for at least an hour!
and seth should make tea and said sasage sandwich! >:D
I find that setting particularly useful, as I have many a scrunched up piece of paper that need to be straightened out.

2nd Jul 2008, 19:12

babs says:

*envies scrunched up paper collection.

*only has bits of fluff and old sweety wrapper in own pocket.

2nd Jul 2008, 20:38

jen says:

*pulls out several pieces of scrunched up pieces of paper from pockets and gives them to babs*
My pockets are like the tardis....I don't know how all this junk fits in there.....
*digs out an old sweetie from pocket*
oooo, tea!!!!

Seth Lakeman, will you marry me? :D

3rd Jul 2008, 07:43

Indra says:

by the way: got the signed cd too jen and babs, thanks to my best friend Astrid (who lives in Plymouth)... she had to run for it, because she was almost too late, but got there just in time for the manager to arrange a signed copy of Freedom Fields and Poor man's Heaven... no Kitty Jay, unfortunately but hey... who's complaining ;)... excuse me for any mistakes in my english... been a long time since school LOL... love from Holland! Have a great day! Seth: hope you';ll visit Holland soon: let me give you the grande tour! X

3rd Jul 2008, 07:46

jen says:

You're english is perfect Indra! Really!
And i think you have the one question that many a female has asked...

4th Jul 2008, 11:09

sophie says:

Oooh Indra! Are you the same Indra whose blog I commented on. About the GetCloser vids?

* feels that's a slightly spooky coincidence.

* Only not really.

4th Jul 2008, 13:46

Indra says:

I don;t think so... you mean the Indra who wanted to be a mandolin? That wasn't me no... but must agree though: If only I were a fiddle :P

7th Jul 2008, 13:43

DB says:

9th Jul 2008, 22:49

jen says:

I'm personally on a rather comfortable haybale.
glad you enjoyed the gig, but I don't think you need worry about Seth changing into a over-egoed smushy person.

12th Jul 2008, 12:03

DB says:
