Sucker for reflections and repeating geometry. Erratic uploader but always taking more pics. Now more behind than ever thanks to several recent work trips.
Currently shooting with a Panasonic DMC-TZ3, which has all the zoom I could ever need, but lacks some other refinements. It'll do until there's an affordable SLR with enormo-zoom that I can fit in my pocket; watching the Four Thirds consortium with interest ...
i feel sorry for the glastonbury mob. it looked like it was going to be good for a second...
Tis a good shot.
You know, every British summer we tell ourselves that the rain is an anomaly. It's not.
I give you last June. And a bit of silver lining.
My shots aren't that great, but in my defence I was really depressed by the fact that children had drowned and thousands of people had been flooded out of their homes in the city I worked in.
Sorry, I hope I'm not hijacking but it was this week last year and I've been thinking about the sheer awfulness of it.
i remember that OJ (and i'm quite freaked at how similar this picture is too). yes, we should be grateful it's not got that silly yet, and i hope it doesn't.
Thanks, OJ. And I don't mind the rain in June; actually, I quite like rain in summer, when it's warm. What's pissing me off is the cold: I bought a whole bunch of slinky summer tops a couple of months ago and I've barely worn any of 'em! *kicks weather*
And please don't worry about hijacking; that was a bad do last year, no question :-(
My sympathies, it's pretty much the same on this side of the pond. Lots of bad flooding here, we haven't had that, fortunately, but storms almost every day. I like the shot, btw.
I'd actually quite like some storms! Just rain on its own gets boring after a while ;) And thanks!
