Critical error all over the shop. Poor Mire is pining for you babs. Try hitting 'refresh' repeatedly. Seems to sort it out for me (though it keeps coming back - breaking under the strain of all the porn/viagra registrations I fear).

Oh I see, you mean the *worktop*.

ps. does anyone else find commenting on the guys kitchen a little creepy? (Looks like an african mask to me too Jen, but I never said that. No creepy stalker-ish behaviour over here. Oh no...
...think there may be a little cuppucino machine in there as well...

It's dangerous that there mask jen. Cover your eyes.

20th Apr 2008, 19:39

anonymous says:

Have realised discussing "art" is surely nearly as good as discussing "the music" in total non-creepy/stalker/drool stakes.

(I nearly spoilt it by some reference to the rather nice "work of art" in the foreground, but thought better of it).

Babs is right. The mask clearly has strange voodoo powers judging by its affect on young Jen. (Everyone knows banana's don't wear wellies when flying their space ship. They prefer a nice pair of comfy slippers).

Do you think he writes in that there kitchen and the mask is giving him strange visions and that's why the new album is so dark? Or does it keep subliminally suggesting new "finishing touches" and it's all THE MASK's fault the album release keeps getting pushed back.

21st Apr 2008, 11:52

sophie says:

Sorry! Last comment was me. Forgot to add me name in the box.

21st Apr 2008, 11:53

babs says:

I do that sometimes. It once showed up in the box as
Anonymous(babs) which I thought made me sound like a rapper.
Kinda cool that was.
Well, I expect if the filming was done during the album making ,it would be the tidying of the kitchen that would cause the delay in finishing of it . If "finishing touches " had to be done also, there's no wonder we're looking at May/June time.

I hope to goodnees the "finishing touches" were actually finished before this new tour kicks in tomorrow.

Don't look at the mask sophie . It'll have your eye out.

It's already had one of mine and jens.

21st Apr 2008, 14:24

Sophie says:

Babs, I fear you are right about album delay.

Dear Seth - please don't clean kitchen on our account ever again. We will gaze forgivingly at your dirty dishes if it gets us albums quicker. If you're worried about your Mum seeing your mess on national telly, just leave a note on the Mire and willing Mirelings will come round and scrub it for you (in a strictly only-doing-it-for-the-music, feminist principles firmly in place and wanting it known that do not normally approve of cleaning bloke's kitchens for them kind of way).

Ta, Sophie

21st Apr 2008, 21:04

jen says:

When my mum tells me to clean my room I just say it's my creative mess. It'd probably be a better excuse for him...
*looks at the african mask in possession of eye*
I want it BACK!!
As for the album, I'll believe it's out when i se it out now...as always, i blame the pizza hut for everything.

21st Apr 2008, 21:49

babs says:

It has been proved men are useless at multi-tasking. Hence the inability to tidy kitchen, and presumably rest of house, in anticipation of filming AND finish the finishing touches"
.
Even when it's out I won't believe it's out .

You notice jen how he has his back to the all seeing mask so as not to get caught out by it's eye catching powers.

21st Apr 2008, 22:36

Emma says:

After watching the show, I think that might be his mum's kitchen. We know it's not 'THE KJ kitchen" and it looked lke it was on the coast from the editing.

22nd Apr 2008, 22:16

Sophie says:

Being his mum's kitchen would certainly explain frighteningly polished nature of every possible surface.

To be fair, given the same circumstance, I'd probably try and use my mum's kitchen too.

22nd Apr 2008, 23:15

babs says:

I thought the Kitty Jay kitchen was Sean's kitchen.

*tries to see the sea throught the window.

editing can make you believe anything.

I don't think it is his mother's kitchen, surely she wouldn't let him sit on the table.

He seems to like kitchens.

I would like to do a series of photographs . "Seth in the kitchen". Fiddling by the aga. Strumming by the toaster.
Standing by the sink, looking out of the window all dark and moody like.

23rd Apr 2008, 08:28

Emma says:

Well I don't see the aga, Sean's woolly socks are nowhere to be seen and Princess the dartmoor pony isn't peeping through the window and tehre's no nappies drying so it can't possibly be the Kitty Jay kitchen!

23rd Apr 2008, 12:48

babs says:

......oddly enough I first laid my eyes and ears on him in a kitchen on the tele back in,oooo must have been 2005, He was fiddling ,but on a chair, although close to a table, I didn't see socks either but there was a lovely dog. .

I think they should have an aga on stage. They had that stag at Regents after all.
It could be Steve Knightley's kitchen, He was filmed too if you remember.

23rd Apr 2008, 13:01

Sophie says:

I think we definitely need a Seth-in-the-Kitchen thread on here...

23rd Apr 2008, 15:20

Sophie says:

Have realised this is *already* a Seth-in-the-Kitchen thread. I meant a thread with lots of photos of Seth in different kitchens.

23rd Apr 2008, 15:22

babs says:

........that's why I planned the photo shoot up there.

It could be a sort of OK /HELLO magazine type thing but instead of being draped about in ridiculously tidy rooms he could be just in kitchens.
In the same tshirt and jeans.

Maybe in an apron.
*remembers line from song about someones head being in an apron , imagines it and has to slap self.

We could make a start in my kitchen.

*gets paper and pencil to make list of willing kitchen donors.

*gets bigger bit of paper.

babs says:

*amost falls over laughing at ad for kitchen under pic (0: (0:

anyway.
*dashes back with news of kitchen related tip from little vid on blog regarding damp tshirt and microwave.

23rd Apr 2008, 17:41

babs says:

no, ignore that,
little vid on mire I meant
the kitchen pic under the kitchen pic threw me for a second,
*comes back to find lower kitchen pic has gone.

*goes for lie down.

jen says:

...
eh heh
*waddles off*

23rd Apr 2008, 18:54

jen says:

the lower kitchen pic is there!
haa haa
prefer seth's/seth's mother's/steve knightley's though.

23rd Apr 2008, 20:15

babs says:

did you see the "other room" on tele last night.
a few more tv appearances and we shall know his house like the back of our hands.

*realises that may come across as rather on the stalkerish side so points randomly .

my god jen, look over there.

*points randomly.

24th Apr 2008, 12:47

Sophie says:

What? Where?

Seem to have missed crucial kitchen vid on Mire. Wants damp tshirts. Or is it the one from the made in england site I haven't watched yet cos I haven't got my headphones with me?

* thinks might be *

Oh, I see what you mean about lower kitchen pic now. Dorset Pine eh? Lovely.

24th Apr 2008, 17:53

babs says:

you sound somewhat confused sophie.
allow me to elucidate.
*does.

the "crucial kitchen vid" is from the my music thingy doo dah that was on channel 5 .
a further glimpse into the fabulously oppulent home of our leader was on the the one you mentioned up there.

I wonder if he realised the sheer joy he brought to the stalker fraternity when the camera lingered on the house name on the lovely big front door.

ha ha. *in the style of nelson from the simpsons.

*likes damp tshirts too.
oh yes.

dorset pine you think? at time of writing it isn't visible but vows to look next time it appears . Odd that there's no sign of a window.
I like the floor though.

25th Apr 2008, 08:12

jen says:

stalkersih fraternity?
*quickly hides map of yelverton behind map with markings on best way to get to house and hidng places for best watching opportunites*
which picture was the one you sent him babs? There was one of pebbles and one from regents park that i saw...

25th Apr 2008, 10:11

babs says:

regents park. (0:

*also hides o s map which doesn't actually show just yelverton but the whole of dartmoor.
*decides vast area depicted makes it not so stalkerish as jen's specific yelverton map so feels smug and able to carry on with stalking plan for bds weekend in august .

*is positive did not say that outloud.

25th Apr 2008, 12:45

jen says:

you didn't unfortunately for you I'm psycic.
*chuckles evilly*
*thinks that as babs stalker plans cover a wider area of 'Sethland' that makes it worse*
*chuckles at the word 'sethland'*
*goes back to previous thought*
at least he'll know where to expect me.
*another evil chuckle*
I may start cackling in a minute.
Oh dear.

25th Apr 2008, 17:21

babs says:

"at least he'll know where to expect me"

I myself prefer to go with the element of suprise.

*chortles as likes the word.

*also chuckles at "sethland" as sounds like a theme park.

25th Apr 2008, 19:59

jen says:

*imagines a sethland theme park*
there could be a roller coaster around a fiddle.
and and and and and and
*builds suspense*

.....a waterslide......

25th Apr 2008, 21:45

babs says:

*claps hands with glee.

we'll have to have height restrictions in place.

26th Apr 2008, 00:39

jen says:

*ponders*
yes, I think we may...
*thinks of other possible rides*

26th Apr 2008, 21:53

babs says:

*tries to think too
*screws up eyes really really tight to help thinking process.

we could have a dark, scary ride with all the spookier characters from dartmoor legends dangling about on string so they catch your hair and face in the dark and make you scream in a girly fashion. The men too.

and a sort of "small world" ride in a sort of pretend moorland setting with lots of white hares all soft and fluffy and cute, not the sort with spooky eyes and floaty frocks .

27th Apr 2008, 07:23

jen says:

aaaaa, the floaty bint (was that it) I was slightly annoyed they had to use that particular video for the made in england...
and what about a Childe the Hunter merry go round? with realistic snow and blood written messages obviously.
a 'stealth' style rollercoaster down the neck of a double bass? (big big big version obviously)

27th Apr 2008, 20:58

babs says:

fabulous.

maybe we could nick that big f**k off fiddle from somewhere in Canada that has it's pic on the blog way back and take the top off it and use it as a boating lake.

28th Apr 2008, 15:56

jen says:

I thought that there was a huge one in Italy?
(yes, I was lookig at pictures on here a long time before I started commenting on them)
Like the idea of a boating lake, what about a flume too?
