absolutely bloody lovely...really just screams quality both in build and usability. The cool factor when people see it is off the scale, I've had random strangers walk up to me in public and ask about it...most of them think it's an iphone though.
If I may phwoar?
PHWOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!
Saving up for a "Classic" at the moment :)
I have a few niggles, such as Safari not including flash player (erm, why? this thing is based on OSX and is apparently the full version of safari..so no excuses) Also the wifi doesn't like seriously locked down networks (like my own) so I've had to create a separate network just for the ipod...not everybody would be in a position to do this. Otherwise though, its interface is very intuitive, the sound quality is excellent (though I never bother with the apple white headphones I have senheiser ones) and the ability to buy from the itunes store straight to the ipod is pretty useful.
Would I be right in thinking then that it can update from iTunes without having to be plugged in via USB? it just grabs it all from the air like magic?
no, syncs still take place via USB, I assume this is for DRM purposes, but I'm not sure. Anything I buy on the ipod does get transfered back to my PC when I sync though.
Boo! That's a shame. I'd like to think that when I walk in the door my podcasts could automatically upload onto my iPod.
Ah well, maybe in the future.
You get stuff like you tube on it?
Ah well, I take it all back - pretty much any mainstream music video you could ever need on there!
Now, if it runs uTorrent you're laughing ;)
It has a built in youtube application that gives you access to latest/most viewed/bookmarked/top rated/search etc
You scared me for a moment there. I thought you'd defiled yourself and gotten an iPhone.
SkullCandy headphones for me.
