Went out and about in 'cool' harajuku today.found the design festa too with graffiti and brilliant exterior sculpture stuff.then walked down takeshita-dori which is a street where all the hip and happening young japanese hang out and crowd the streets.felt slightly old!also found the original bathing ape store (picture of my new top below!) before Nigo chummed up with pharrell and it all lost it's mystique as more branches open worldwide.then ate at our favourite fast food place - fujimammas which we discovered last year at summersonic and were itching to go back for more!needless to say a pretty penny was spent today in the scorching heat but great to go back to this district again.Tomorrow is an hours journey out of Tokyo to see the daibutsu -giant buddha and temple.and maybe dip a toe in the pacific seeing as it's near the seaside too!
