*sighs*

They are absolutely adorable Mat, and I'm chuffed for you that you've found a pup! It'll be a long 10 weeks wait but it'll be worth it! Are you getting a dog or a bitch?

Helen says:

Yeah, boy or girl? Do you have names in mind, or are you waiting? How exciting.

Although puppies are a nightmare. Well, Benji was.

A dog, I think. They grow that little bit bigger. I'm still not quite certain (yes, they may be lots of work, but then also I've always wanted a dog) and I haven't checked with the landlord either.

I didn't find anything, strictly speaking - they found me (see comment by Colette here)

Am waiting on names, it's hard to name a creature you haven't met, but it will probably be something japanese.

It's fairly certain that Elvis, Cherry and Winston will have another competitor in the "most moblogged pet" stakes, yes.. :)

i still really want a cavalier king charles. and Mason says i can have one if i can find one that's free to a good home, and ok with cats :)

haha. not much chance of a free one. but i'm gonna wait til i've finished college, and save up for one!

OJ says:

Very, very cute.

And I thought they were piglets. For quite a few moments there I was marvelling at your eccentricity and wondering what you were going to do when that pig got big....

Ahem. It's a long wait but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Can you go and visit in the meantime?

9th May 2007, 18:41

mat says:

they're on the Isle of Man... so probably not, although I could get a plane for a day trip, I suppose. I'd like to visit before collecting, if it's possible.

9th May 2007, 19:04

OJ says:

Well that's a bit far. Hopefully the owners will send you lots of pictures as he grows up.

We had to wait just a couple of weeks to pick up our cat from the RSPCA shelter and we must have visited "just to say hello" about 5 times. How very exciting.

mat says:

the dogs get to between 35-40cm, to the withers, bitches a little smaller. so not that big, but not toy-size either.

I just google imaged them. Came across some "puppy-fluffy-contton-ball-highlights-in-the-making-photo-ops".
