Steve, yes thats the custom paint job, it always looks like that.

Nige, really?...I had one before this, in silver, an older shape, and much faster.....it's difficult to buy a car that offers a better driving experience for the same price...can't bring myself to buy the clone golf or audi that everyone seems to be driving.

funny, it looks black in these pictures, it's actually very very dark metallic blue.

i hear you Joe. i think thats why it's such a lusted after car. one of my buddies has SE WRX version in what i can only describe as a metallic baby blue. i must say, they're not for me, but i do like that colour.

at any rate, it must make your commute a little more fun... :)

I've not had a WRX.

I used to own a very old sports wagon, then I had a Leone (the precursor of the Liberty) and when I killed that we bought one of the first models of the Forester. The ex still has that, it's a brilliant. car. Drove it all the way around Australia.

oooooo, I want one. While I'm sure it's nippy, it's surely no match to the experience you get at the wheel of my 1.2 Polo(!) :D But I guess I get all the benefits of a small engine, like £1200 insurance.......oh, wait a minute..... :P

That's lovely, Joe. My folks are on their third Subaru, they swear by them. I am hoping my next car will be a Subaru - the all-wheel drive really helps save the sanity in New England winters!
