Knowledge pursues me but I am faster.......
If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit.......
.......One day, we will look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject…
Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.
me too, its a lost art...you do look happy, this is a lovely pic........
Thanks P, yes letter writing is a bit of a lost art ...... probably makes getting a real 'hold in your hand letter' that little bit more special .....
Tea, toast and marmite, sun, a letter from a friend (plus Friday is my day off) .... makes for a happy Maggie...... the simple things in life.....
Thanks Nige.... are your parents still in town? ...... pretty sure I saw an orange figure resembling your dad standing lookout somewhere in North London......
*waves*
great shot
I feel that way about Christmas cards. It's such a shame that so many people send them by email now - on the other hand I suppose it saves trees.
Yes, bit of a dilemma there ..... however, as long as the trees are a renewable resource, and we have a good balance.....think the over packaging of goods has alot more to answer for .... plus the card industry's promotion of such blatently profit motivated enterprises such as 'Fathers' Day', Grandparents Day', 'Nanny's Day', 'Housekeepers' Day' 'The man who comes and does odd jobs for you Day'
my folks are still here Maggie, sure. hehe. i think i know the figure you mean...
I like both - but parcels are great (especially when they contain books/food!)
Isn't it lovely to be able to eat breakfast in the garden; feels really decadent : )
Yep, parcels of goodies are the best. Breakfast in the garden is lovely, but can only really manage it at weekends and days off....
looks like a really private peaceful corner you've got for yourself there
Yes ... private and peaceful .... it was 8.00 am on a Friday morning (My day off).... no teenagers (it being pre- mid day affter exams) ... sunshine and solitude.....
Thanks Beth, Dave took it just before he left for work..... talking of work, have all crossable parts of body crossed for the 19th....
I bet you looked as lovely as you do in this picture...only cheesecloth instead of satin.....
