We've been staying in Ilam Hall in the Peak District. It's a hostel, but boy, what a difference. I know, I haven't been in one for over twenty years, but these places have really changed. Most of the people staying had young kids. They served meals and you didn't have to do duties. Had a lovely time.

Sun! Colour in the sky! Non-rainy weather! Don't you love it.

For most of the day, sat at the round table half listening to what seemed to be a long complaining conversation about overwork and students who 'don't get it' while gazing out at the gorgeous sun outside. I had a little time afterwards to jump on my bike and take photographs of the setting sun

...said Ruth. Could have been the boring recharger I'd ordered or the irritaing CRB check I'd applied for. Even better, it was a lovely bar of choclate from Dhamaka. This is a real treat. Thanks so much and happy new year to you too.
