Such a lovely ruin. We gave warwick castle a miss ... just too much padding to make it worthwhile.

The day was so much nicer than this pictures suggest ... met some ex-pat Kiwis (school buddies) for a picnic. Lazed around in teh sun. Pleasant day for all. And great weather!

Outside the National Gallery.I'm not sure they were part of the same group. I think they were attracted by the drummer ... but then why did the guy in blue have a whistle with him?
G has been coming to London three or four times a year since he was one. And he always chases the pigeons. R usually tells him not to out of humanitarian reasons.
Standing guard and being a human mannikin looks like a tough way to make a living.

We went to see the Guard Change at Buckingham Palace. A few other people had teh same idea. How did they know?
1. Amusing ourselves till kick off
2 - 3. The word is out. Something's going to happen.
