I know. it's a nonholiday for you. but for me, there is a moment to slow down and find the good things. I made pies. and I had to set off the fire alarm, twice to finish it up.
we all need more pies.

well, I have a soft spot for muybridge so it was just great to get up there and be part of one of photography's finer moments. when you cycled the earphones played great music, and there were some very inspired riders.
this is toronto city hall, which is two curved towers, with a round spaceship thing at the bottom.great 60's architecture. I really liked the family that sat there and watched the whole series.
carpe diem and the night time too. it is my favourite night, nuit blanche, the allnight art thing in toronto.
today I went to photography class (it's still all about the light), met a red kangaroo joey, got marina to hold roo so I could take a bad photo of yoko's billboard, and then we walked over to watch michel broin's waterfall start up. big hug to the blog.

Carfree day was celebrated on Sunday. People and businesses'rented' metered parking spots for the day ($2/hr). I had never seen the police on horses give a car a ticket before. Bottom shot is of bikers powering up a sound system. They were set up about 5 meters from Igor the bike thief''s old store. It is up for lease or sale.
apologies for being so completely out of touch. will try to catch up soon.
