I couldn't help myself. I took about a hundred photos of clouds. I flew to Ottawa this week.

So I said, okay, everyone expects you to look serious when you're dressed up. How about the other part, spiritual first nations people?

Chapter 23 of my neighbourhood. Honest Ed's is a huge store on the nearest main street. For those of you in the UK, Ed bought the London's Old Vic and refurbished it, and later sold it. What no one sees or knows much about is the street next to the store, of houses made into studios. Those rented studios have provided a cheap place to work for the best of Canada's writers, painters, artists for years. The store might be tacky, but it pays the bills. Ed is now very old, and sick, and we miss him. And his wife, Anne is the best kind of woman.
Maybe this should be called 'Me and My big fat lens'. Or 'Flash her head off.' Trying to take this photo was an adventure.
the park is in the centre of the city, all native plants, a great place to eat lunch. the Gardiner Museum has pots I wish I made. And finally we have to buy tea at the place that has every tea in the world. It smells wonderful.
