This is my new necklace. Someday I imagine that I will have a camphone that actually takes halfway decent photos. Then perhaps I will show you the necklace again, with something resembling details.
Today we went out to brunch. We have been going to this restaurant ever since we moved into the area. I always stumble in and order coffee. Then, while I am sitting there, I see Bloody Marys being delivered to other tables and I lament my choice of coffee. I am too cheap, having paid for one drink (refillable at that) to then order a second. Plus, I usually have a full day ahead of me and booze at breakfast does not seem like a good idea.
Yet, I often mention that someday I plan to order a Bloody Mary. They have one on the menu that they claim is very spicy.
Today, I had a Bloody Mary. I tried to take a photo of me drinking it, but every one I took sucked. I did succeed in making the table next to me notice My Big Fat Ego with my incessant self portrait attempts.
Then I got home and wished I could take a nap. I really don't think starting my day with vodka is a good plan, unless I also plan to just keep on drinking it the rest of the day.

These are two of my birthday toes. I have ten total. They haven't dried yet, which is why there are hunks of cotton shoved between them. My birthday is next week, but my friend is busy all week, so she took me out today and treated me to a mani/pedi and lunch.
The polish is a citron color, that in the bottle looked a touch more green, but against my skin it looks rather gold. The big toes on each side have fancy flowers. I am SO girly. How odd. The last time (and only other time) I had a design painted on any of my nails was when I was going to a party at the Playboy Mansion, and come to think of it, this same friend was with me when I got the mani/pedi for that and SHE suggested having a design painted on. She is apparently a girly influence on me.
Lunch turned out to be a special slice of hell, but we'll always remember it, so at least it had entertainment value.

Today I feel as if I could not feel less like taking a picture of myself. I am sure I will prove that I can easily feel much less like doing so as the year progresses.
I also do not feel like vacuuming or doing the damn laundry.
Actually going to take a pause in typing this to go move some things into the dryer...
... and back
That took a while since several pieces from the load are too delicate for the dryer and must be dealt with separately. Hopefully I didn't miss any.
The interesting looking thing in the photo is my Dyson.

I wasn't planning to moblog a shower photo today. Actually my phone wasn't even in the bathroom. It is just that, as I was trying to shut off the water and get out of the shower, the handle came off in my hand. I was turning both handles at once, and then, the hot side was in my hand. The cold side finished shutting off and I only had hot water on.
Several thoughts ran through my head and you might even imagine a few of them. One of them was, "I should post this on the internet. This feels a lot like what my life is actually like."
So, I guess I was thinking about all ya'all in the shower.
Anyhow, I hopped out and went and got my phone. Then I wrapped a towel around so I wouldn't accidentally post a photo of any reflected nekkid bits on accident. Then I took the photo. It is staged in that I did not have the camera aimed there right as it happened, but I really did shower today, and the handle really did come off in my hand as I tried to shut the water off today.
I got my phone wet.

This is me stopped at a traffic light. I am on my way home, having cut off my errand running early. Stop one was not entirely successful as the pharmacy only wanted to give me the generic even though my doctor had written for the brand specified "do not substitute". From there, the heat and the traffic proved to much to take and I aborted my mission and headed for home. Along the way I was thinking about the mobloggers who were doing their 365 self-portraits and I decided to snap a photo and join in. I'm not particularly gung ho on the idea since I am not very excited about posting photos of me in general. It seems like it might be interesting for me to look back upon. Let's give it a whirl.
