Grey. Gray.

Grey skies near Birmingham, England....in JULY!

It's amazing how much us British talk/complain about the weather!

Australian Light

(viewed 816 times)
Artist, the late Sir Sidney Nolan, said in an interview, not long
before his death, that after decades of living in England the one
thing that he missed about his homeland was that 'extraordinary
Australian light'.

It even brightens up an otherwise dreary alleyway beside the
Library where I work.

Moon and clouds

(viewed 1581 times)
Full moon tonight, but no eclipse in the western hemisphere. This is a composite of two shots, one at 1/2000" for the moon and the other at 3/4" for the clouds. Both were ISO200 at f/2.8 and 200mm.
