"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
Dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
-Robert Frost

Okay, so tulips weren't the only thing I got yesterday! I copied my sister
and got a portable iPod speaker case thingy like she has, except mine's
different colours. It's brill, ace and skill!!

Bloomakers

I went warehouse shopping at Costco yesterday and got these already
sprouting tulip bulbs. All you have to do is keep them floating in a bit of water and
stick them by a window, so I figured even I couldn't mess that up! I've had
them for 24 hours and haven't managed to kill them yet so things are looking
good...

Booooo!

The schools around here are either closed or opening late due to snow, but
the federal government is open (our office follows their rules). This means
I've got to go to work -- boooo!

Heirlooms

Just like Goonflower, I love rummaging through antiques so it was cool to
find some belonging to my sister in law's hubby when we visited them a few weeks
ago.

I took Russ to the woods for the first time since his surgery today. He was
so excited he almost looked like he'd take off!

Farewell Urbanrockstar!

The nephew left us for North Carolina last week, but during the packing
process I managed to sneak in a couple of pictures. Ah, that belt and that
skateboard will be strewn around someone else's house by now (kidding :D).
Good luck Nick!
