My godmother is doing a whirlwind tour of the east coast at the moment, so
when she stopped in DC yesterday I met her for a meal. Slightly random....a
couple of West Midlanders meeting in America's capital, but it was quite nice!

No mother should have to bury a son, but he's at peace now. Yesterday it
finally stopped raining and the family had a good day on the fishing pier.

My husband's brother passed away last week. It's good to have puppies around
to help the healing process (and big dogs too of course).
