"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
Dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
-Robert Frost

I took this picture of the husband about eleven years ago and I've always liked it. It was his first trip to England and was asked to take a picture by some other visitors at Warwick Castle.
We celebrated thirteen years of marriage on Tuesday. He got me roses ... I got him a set of towels to use on the fishing pier (die-hard romantic that I am!)
'Twas a lovely evening.
I went to the boardwalk yesterday to check out the annual arts and crafts festival. I only managed to get a couple of pictures though because I was trying to keep up with the manic shopper that is my mother-in-law!

This little guy was hanging around on the kitchen window last night, driving the cats crazy!
Sabbi keeps an eye on the neighbourhood.

I strolled back out on the pier last night after the sun had gone down. So
peaceful!
