Phase One of our big move -- I'm here now, looking for a house, looking for work (anyone out there hiring??) while the husband is back in Maryland applying for a visa etc. A very emotional time, but it'll be worth it.

Together Again

This mirror was shattered in one corner, broken into five pieces and had a split frame which was rotten with water damage not long ago. It almost went to the scrap heap because I was told it couldn't be repaired. It's been in my family for over 100 years though and I just couldn't do it. I eventually found a restoration company willing to take on the project and I got it back today. It looks so beautiful and I'm so happy to have it back. I can't wait to bring it back home to England.
