Great Gray Owl

One of my very favorite birds, and the largest North American owl.
A friend was asking me for some owl photos, so I dug this one up for him. It's from a few years ago, but I figured I would post it here too.
This was one of my first attempts at "digiscoping", holding a digital camera up to the eyepiece of a spotting scope.Very handy for bird photos. I've even seen some impressive disgiscoped images that were taken with camera phones, but my phone isn't near good enough.

When she said "lemon cucumber"
