All along the Cleddau Bridge are drains such as these. The rain falls down and collects in the gutters, as rain does. The water flows to the drains, there to return to the river, only it can't, because the wind blows it straight back out of the hole again, straight into the faces of passing cyclists. FAIL!

Cycling Weekly are doing a weight loss challenge and are seeking volunteers. I had to send in 300 words and a photo. I took a most unflattering photo as I thought that's what they would want, and it will also serve as an incentive to leave the pies alone... it was such a bad photo I just couldn't bring myself to post it without curving it first (to give it artistic merit, y'undertand...)
