dammit... self timer catches me pullin my keks up before i can turn to face the cam.... so have a pic of my arse instead.
this is 'front garden' of our rented seaside cottage (called, wait for it....'seaside cottage...') up in sutherland, north west highlands. looked beautiful. smelled like a fish stall on a warm day.

on top of the world
the first image shows the 2008 foot stack viewed from the car park after my decent when the sun was shinin.
the second image is me on arrival at the summit... i could occasionally see over the tops of the clouds... like when you take off or land in an aeroplane and you're close to the tops of em...magic, but not what i was hoping to see. after an hour of waiting the clouds finally retreated and i was rewarded with 360 degree take your breath away view of highlands and lowlands partly shown in the third image.

mysterious rocks
the view from these rocks is supposedly spectacular. i saw grey. lots and lots of grey.
