Girls Aloud are heading out on tour starting this Sunday, and you can win tickets to one of their gigs.

Simply design and post a banner made for taking to the gig and waving around, the best 6 posts will win a pair of tickets each.

The girls will also be leaving voice messages on their moblog, using the fantastic Spinvox service, and you can even leave your own messages for them.

We haven't been updating moblog:uk much recently as we've been very busy creating a whole new site - moblog2. We've worked really hard at improving how the site works and what it can do for you, so that your moblogging is easier and more feature-packed than ever before. Here's just a small sample of some of the great new things that will be coming soon:

Maps - add your posts to your own map, and be a part of the sitewide map. Search for pictures by location, maybe even find a moblogger near you!

New tabbed profile editor - streamlined access to all of your profile features using tabs, and a brand new personal profile page.

Audio blogging - moblog just by calling a number. We have dedicated numbers in Spain, Germany, France, the UK and the USA that you can call and dictate a message. That message is then translated into text and posted along with the original audio into your moblog.

Auto-syndication - automatically send your moblog updates to a number of different sites including Twitter, Google Blogs and Technorati.

Site moderators and editors will be getting exclusive invites to help us test the new site soon, or please email us here if you'd like to be a tester. Unfortunately there may not be space for everyone to be on the test list, so please don't be disappointed if we can't fit you in.

Valentines has been co-opted by the corporates, sold out to schmoozers! We're stealing it back, add to the Kiss Book collection all through February and help make February the month of love.

The City Clickers competition has now been extended for entries, and will be open until midnight the 30th November

The City Clickers competition closes on Sunday the 25th at midnight, so you have about a day left to get your entries in.

2 winners from each country (UK, Netherlands, France, Germany and Spain) will be chosen, each winning an LG Viewty cameraphone, a real beauty capable of 120fps video and with a 5 megapixel camera. Each winner will also have their phone bill paid for two months, so it's a doozie of a prize.

These 10 winners will then be using the City Clickers moblog to document their lives, their country, and their city.

We've been hard at work creating a new competition which through it's Pan European focus will mean that more mobloggers will be able to take part.

Working with Shiny Shiny, we have created City Clickers, a moblog competition with some quite wonderful prizes.

The moblog asks you to send in images of people you feel define your country in some way. The best images (sent in before midnight on 25th November) will be chosen from each of the European countries, and the winners will receive free LG Viewty Phones, as well as have their phone bills paid for two months, which can never be a bad thing.
