M'good friend Kat and me wandered down the Royal Mile to visit our local Democracy Centre.
Apart from this quite-famous side of the building that houses the MSP's offices, the outside of the Parliament really isn't up to much; even the public lobby on the inside (once through metal detectors and luggage scanners) is more gloomy than groovy.
But our advice is to front the cash for the guided tour and get to see all the really quite funky interior spaces. Sadly there's some conflicting opinions/signage over whether or not you're allowed to take photos, so this and some of the rather minimal frontage is all I got.
But the inside is fab.
From the cinema: lines an' lines an' lines an' lines!
Sunday: my first day off work for eleven days.
A lovely day: quality viewings with quality friends.
And booze.
Waiting for a friend at the cinema.
Evening brightness; shiny building.
This is a scales sheet, showing information about a new product that needs to be entered into the system. Can you tell what it is?
[They're not here yet, and once we get them they're under very tight pain-of-death security levels. Not that I care.]
Yesterday was far too hot. Wasps are too interested in my curtains.
