We climbed in to get a better look and lo and behold it's only a sculpture garden being built. Not wierd at all. Fantastic. Not only is there this massive sculpture but they are building a Charles Jencks, like they have at the modern art gallery and the budhist place in the borders, sammy lings or however you spell it. So look out for Bonnington Hall sculpture park opening summer 2008!

Needed to get nearer to see what this is. Barbed wire fences, locked doors, keep out signs are no match for a MacDougall. It's the horse thief coming out, you see. But what is it?

We noticed this wierd structure spring up before Christmas. Maybe it's another one for the wierd west lothian series. We are going to have to take a closer look.
