We were shocked to stumble upon this sight in the kitchen. In a moment of
apparent cannibalism, 'BBQ Homer' decided to try and eat the 'Scrat
Rat'.....Golden Wolverine looks on in horror....
The larger one has lots of goodies in his belly...
So there I was, casually checking the See Tickets RSS Feed as I do most days - and whom should I discover is touring? Non other than the Man In Black - Johnny Cash! Only problem is...he's been 6 feet under for several years! I click the link to buy tickets, but unsurprisingly the site said 'no dates match this search'.
I then scrolled down in amazement and spotted a whole host of other long-lost artists the RSS Feed claims are performing!
Something tells me their RSS Feed is polling ooooooold ticket sales information!
Pity really - I quite fancied seeing Vanilla Ice AND MC Hammer
tour together! I wonder who would get top billing...
Radiohead are releasing a new album on Oct 10th and as has been widely
publicised the band are letting fans decide how much they want to pay for
the digital-download version of the album. I've not been a fan of anything
they've done since 'Ok Computer'....I've just never been able to get into
anything since then - so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt
and pre-order the new album.
I didn't want to pay full whack or what I'd usually pay as firstly, I don't
think I'm going to like this album (so it's likely I'll only give it a
couple of listens then delete it) and secondly; they've given me the chance
to pay 1p for an album and not feel guilty about it! Finally, if I do like
it I'll go and buy the CD when it comes out in December, so I'm not paying
CD price for it now.
This is an experiment for the band and I'm happy to take part - it's an
experiment for me too. I decided I'd pay 10p (plus the credit card
transaction fee of 45p)...and I'll let you know what it's like on October
10th!
Went to see Doug supporting Amy MacDonald last night at the Glee Club in
Birmingham. His set was great and I'm looking forward to seeing a headline
show!
Check out his myspace

Moyles approved single 'The Mystery'.
