Chessman and Roof
My tortured soul! I used to work here and see these things every day! Just managed a quick visit on a conference trip the other weekend. The interior of the Royal Museum in Edinburgh and The Lewis Chessmen, who are just groovetastic little dudes. I miss them...
My most recentest trip to the spiritual home
Ah, Glasgow, dreich and gorgeous... This was a visit marred by brevity and an evil cold, but this just means another visit is required very soon. The top picture is a view of Glasgow University, very near to where I used to live, and the bottom one is a cool installation at the recently refurbished Kelvingrove Museum, a really beautiful and now rather funky place stuffed full of great things.
