James, Steve, me, & Rob in the mirrors on the tube on the way home, and Steve and Rob in the bar pre-gig.

The man is just too damned cool. His gig last night was amazing - Soundgarden, Audioslave and solo stuff plus a sheepish David Arnold for the Bond track. Just brilliant!
I was trying to take a photo of Steve's immaculately constructed blue-brick path when the scottiedog did her usual trick of stomping all over whatever it is I'm looking at with her enormous spades, but I'm happy with this photo - I rarely capture her looking relaxed because she hates me pointing cameras at her. Anyway back to the path...very impressed... :)
The photos aren't great because the sun was shining in the wrong direction (I'm at work when it's in the right place for pics) BUT, largely for the benefit of baronshubby, here is my Extreme Makeover - Garden Edition. This whole space was half manky grass and overgrown flowerbeds, half biggest shed in the world. With the shed "removed" (see earlier post) we discovered a tasty Victorian wall, and had space not only for a new little shed, but also for a whole new seating area. We dug up the turf and built a path (of course, the "we" part is only about 10% me) and put slate chippings all around. I really love it! The garden seems twice as big as before!

My two resident goons with the Palfrey Horse, a mythical beast seen only in the flesh by local park-frequenting imbibers of Special Brew.
I took the scottiedog for a walk early this evening and the park was very gorgeous. Hekta, the mighty hunter, lies in wait for her next kill.
Mr Goonflower and I celebrated 365 long days of untold mis... marital bliss on Sunday! Also pictured - the heart-shaped piece of pepper that I extracted from my tooth after our anniversary dinner. It came from the goats cheese, pesto and pepper tostada...mmm!
