Belated Christmas

(viewed 2013 times)
This year the blonde kid spent Christmas day with his dad.

I hate seeing him go but in the interests of fairness it has to be done SO we wrote a letter to Father Christmas and asked him if he'd come to our house on a different day this year, He was lovely about it and asked of NYE would be a suitable alternative and it was.

Therefore Christmas came a whole week late in our house. We had presents although much later in the day than on a normal Christmas day due to the late night the evening before.

I cooked a dinner with all the trimmings and served it buffet style for 15 - and actually found space for everyone to sit!

Then i got flu which developed into a chest infection and due to the fact I needed to put all my effort into breathing (something I kinda needed to do to live) I am now blogging about it another week late!!

Dinner Guests

This year we have two extra visitors for Christmas dinner. Jordan's class

Two Giant African Snails, apparently they have no names, eat cucumber and
sleep lots. That's about it really, Good looking little suckers aren't they?
I think we should give them names while they're with us but I'm not sure how
we'd tell them apart!
