At Orford Castle

(viewed 1164 times)
... a very well preserved Norman Castle in Suffolk. Legend tells that the
local fishermen caught a merman in their nets and imprisoned him in the
castle. Didn't see in any mermen but could see Sizewell B from the top and
also the main broadcasting aerials for the BBC World Service.

(viewed 980 times)

Ouch! Mind your head...

This little guy at Raglan warns us not to bang our heads. He also seems to
have a grazed elbow and a bullet wound to his chest. Poor chap.

withstand force 10 gales, but it got pretty soggy after a weekend of rain :(
Camping in Northamptonshire for the English Heritage "Festival of History".
