... a very well preserved Norman Castle in Suffolk. Legend tells that the
local fishermen caught a merman in their nets and imprisoned him in the
castle. Didn't see in any mermen but could see Sizewell B from the top and
also the main broadcasting aerials for the BBC World Service.

From the garden, home this summer to some enormous spiders with a talent for
finding their way in to the house... although they're welcome to stay as
long as they kill wasps!

This little guy at Raglan warns us not to bang our heads. He also seems to
have a grazed elbow and a bullet wound to his chest. Poor chap.

... in which you can see my orange force ten tent. It might be able to
withstand force 10 gales, but it got pretty soggy after a weekend of rain :(
Camping in Northamptonshire for the English Heritage "Festival of History".
Fun had by all with waterproofs.
