Damned cold on the beach this morning and blowing a gale (well, almost).
More from the woods this morning.
Headed for the woods this morning.
This is very much an urban stream, with loads of rubbish in it, but there are the odd picturesque bits to it. Amazing how the camera can lie...
Very windy on the beach today, but beautiful sunshine.
After a day driving to London and back, and dealing with nightmare traffic, it was good to get home and have a night time walk on the beach. The top shot is looking back towards the town with the street lights reflected in the wet sand, with a 15 second exposure.
The second shot is a 30 second exposure messing about with light scribbles, taken up close the green lights you might just about be able to see in the top shot.
Been quite busy lately. Been to London and back today and same again tomorrow. Managed to get a walk on the beach this morning, though, and pretty wild it was too.
If the sand looks as though it's moving in the third shot, it is. A mini sandstorm on the beach.
Tim did not appreciate it at all. He can't understand why we have to go to the beach when it's so wet and windy. But I love it so he has to put up with it.
This shot was a complete accident. I was trying to take some night shots on the beach this evening, had the camera set up on the gorillapod on the sand taking a 60 sec exposure of the waves, but half way through a wave crept up the beach and threatened to swamp the camera. So I picked it up and, well, this was the result.
Great night to be on the beach, by the way. Very blustery and rainy. Perfect for blowing and washing the cobwebs away. The dog was not at all amused to be there, though.
