We'll miss you, wee bug. See you your next time around.

We had a garage. Got squished in the 2008 ice storm. Replaced it with the tent garage. Snowloween 2011 put paid to that pretty well, I'd say. Thank god the neighbor has a big snowblower, our tractor is in there somewhere.

More from the Nonesuch River. The colors on these are pretty accurate,
the pink ones really are that pink, and the yellow one is actually a bit
brighter than this shows.

I took these this summer at the Thurston Mills site in Saco, ME, on the
Nonesuch River. I'd gone on a tour of the falls in Saco (there are 2)
and at the previous site (Cascade Falls) I'd realized that I'd worn
entirely the wrong shoes - it's a climb to get down to it, and sandals
were an error, so I did the climb barefoot. So, when we got to this one
and I saw another climb looming, I elected to stay at the top of the
ravine and take photos there. That's when I realized it was apparently
heaven for mushrooms and lichens and mosses of all sorts. I immediately
thought of swamprose and Euphro and got to the photographing :). These
are the best of a great many photos - next time, I'll wear long pants
and sleeves and be able to get closer.

Bellydancers and a Yogi on the Saco River in Maine. Took these with my camera phone, quite pleased. Will see how the camera photos turn out tomorrow and post good ones next week.

This is the year I get a two week vacation. This past week has been all fiber all the time. This next week includes a photography workshop track so expect lots of photos when I get home, if not sooner.
