Parnngurr is located 370 kilometres due east of Newman in Western Australia.
The community is located in the Great Sandy Desert at the southern end of Karlamilyi (Rudall River) National Park.
There are 150 or so permanent residents here, a shop, and one school.

I dobbed myself in - found some mice chewed bare cable that had tripped out the wireless modem. Got stuck into eradicating old cable and other mayhem

looking at you lot over there in English land from our jammed up humble workstation at this end of the sticks - seems the signal is fading - it often drops off and the wireless has now cut out
