I make things on the web, mobile and in the actual world.

I've done lots of bits and bobs over the years, and right now I'm mostly working on this.

I enjoy speaking about things I like, most recently this. You can email me if you'd like, and I'm on twitter.

Best. Thing. Ever.

(viewed 1049 times)
A while ago i bought a transmitting thingy which unfortunately transmitted on the 2.4ghz frequency, and so regardless of which channel i set my router to transmit on, it was crap - crazy interference.

So at last i got round to taking it back to maplins today, where they only would give me store credit. So. Ive had my eye on this media enclosure for some time now, and it was basically the same price, so i swapped it.

This thing is amazing. Theres no hdd in it yet, but it streams any media over the network. It also records live tv plus time shifting. You can also plug in other hard drives via usb.

Along with the fact that i can now stream anything on my 2 500gb drives in my pc, my home entertainment setup is, i think, complete. Totally chuffed :)

edit - Oh yeah, here's a link if it excites you too :)

South Park Speaks to Startups

(viewed 1002 times)
Considering you can now (if you're in the US) watch every South Park episode ever, free, on the interwebs, I don't think Comedy Network will mind me posting this phenomenal and wonderful excerpt from the latest South Park episode.

"We thought we could make money on the internet, but while the internet is new and exciting for creative people, it hasn't matured as a distribution mechanism to the extent that one should trade real and immediate opportunities for income for the promise of future online revenue. It will be a few years before digital distribution of media on the internet can be monetised to an extent that necessitates content
producers to forgo their fair value and more traditional media."

"yeah."

Shameless Plug

In return for a Moblog plug, I acquiesced to be in a Stuff.tv video, hosted by dear Rumanchu -
skateboarding wearing a funky headcam thing.
