install of Debian/Gnome was getting a bit bloated and slow, plus the nasty hotplug-->udev upgrade was getting unavoidable, so am installing spanking new Xubuntu instead. XFCE should be a lot faster than Gnome on this hardware (P3-500).

This guy's large, expensive and immensely ugly beamer was parked across not one but two disabled parking bays, while him and his wife went to pick up some nibbles from Waitrose. Because the non-disabled spaces are at least four metres further away.

Officially Ace. More than just a big ninja fight. but still - a big ninja fight, which is always good.

This phone might take nice photos, but it's piss all good at video. This is "high quality" mode. High quality, on a phone these days, should be at least QVGA at 15fps, I reckon.

still, the video thumbnailer seems to work. nudge nudge. (going live soon!)
