I'm teaching first years this year, so I have to mark their work. This is a new experience for me. I'm writing helpful comments so far, but will no doubt give up soon.

Damage to jacket

The tape covering one of the seams has come away. I took it into a camping shop asking how much it would cost to repair and they told me to "throw it away and buy a new one". I think they're on commission... I've had this jacket for at least ten years now, it's been all over Europe and up innumerable mountains, and is much loved.
