So I procured a plant propagator from my mum's garage and am now using it to
make my own yeast/sourdough. The mixture in this bowl was just flour and
water about 4 hours ago, it is now bubbling like mad so I think my little
pets like their new warm and cozy environment.
Tomorrow I'll start a rye sour, and by the end of the week I'll have some
proper wheat free bread :)

Leila loves playing with the plastic fasteners on her pushchair, she would
spend ages trying to fasten them, and we'd say "nearly" when she almost did
it. Plastic fasteners are now called "nearlies" as far as she is concerned.
I found some on an old rucksack, so I cut them off and sewed the ends onto a
short strap, so now she has her very own "nearlies" that she can play with
any time. Thankfully she can't undo them yet, so every time she fastens
them, she brings them to me and says "more dada" and I have to undo them.
Maybe I should market them :)

Roxy at the deli bought a load of Moontezuma chocolate multipacks, I bought
me and Shoes one for our anniversary. 12 bars of chocolate excellence in
flavours varying from coconut to chilli and ginger...fantastic, and I don't
even like chocolate.

Suzi's dad is an artist, I've loved his work for years, and we have quite a
few of his canvases. This morning a parcel arrived by post with 2 new pieces
in, this is now on the wall in our lounge. It is a view from the bay where
we got married almost exactly 4 years ago :)
