I wasn't too bothered about seeing the flora clock, but then I found
out that it actually tells the time and has a cuckoo. They're a bit
obsessed with time and marking the passing of it in Edinburgh (with
canons and dropping balls and what-not) . It was around here I heard
bagpipes, playing Auld Lang Syne (or however that's spelt, I should
