I left my footprints in Mexico

Unlike those of Neil Armstrong on the moon, they're unlikely to be there when I return someday.

The light was just so intense, my N73 camera couldn't really hack it.

Architecture of the Regent's canal

Louise and I rode along the Regent's Canal from Edgeware Road to
Limehouse, went under the tunnel to Greenwich, caught a train back to
London Bridge and rode home from there. The route was about 30 miles
(Cambodia is two weeks away!) and took in three markets and some
great buildings. The Isle of Dogs is a bizarrely empty wasteland.
Lots of evidence of human inhabitation, but there's nobody there!

MacBook Pro

(viewed 1024 times)
Look what came on time. Out with the old and in with the new. Core 2 Duo 2.33Ghz, 160Gb disk, 2Gb memory. Fast, pretty, generally great. Took me about 48 hours to get completely moved over. Photoshop runs a lot faster under Rosetta on this machine than it did natively on my aged 1Ghz PB. Windows is fast. iPhoto is just stupid fast, which is really saying something. Compiling Vim 7 takes about two minutes. So many little enhancements it's just fantastic. After the initial dip due to installing crap I'm hoping that productivity will sky rocket, it's certainly a nice object to spend time with :-).
