When vanity is clearly not an option.......... crank up the contrast!
Well hello again. I can hear the audible groans now as mobloggers around the world sigh.
Its been 5 years, can you believe it ? since mad Nige got some of us to join him in a daily self portrait, alledgedly for a whole 365 days. So I thought it would be interesting to compare/contrast ( just like an english essay) then and now.
I'm not going to make any grand promises about sticking it out to the end and I'm already wondering whether this is a daft thing to do, but alot has happened in the last five years.
I originally started this along with nige and a few others back in June 2007 and as I discovered it would prove much more difficult than I had anticipated. I enjoyed it all very much and I think at the time my portrait photography got better.
The Other Nutters are:-
365 Degrees of Kyoob.

Mucking around in the kitchen with the utensils! there are a few more of these
Took this on the train that runs to (almost) the end of Southend Pier. Ickleist 540 was not too impressed with the train itself as it was apparently very noisey!
We shared a carriage with Gorden Kaye who is in a play at the Palace theatre. For those of you who dont know he was in a comedy television series called 'allo allo' and played the character of Rene. We said allo!
It was very windy at the pier head but very sunny, not much left after the fire, but there seems to be a schedule of refurbishment going on.
we bought muffins and ate ice cream, got the train back and paddled in the sea!
Have always like dthe shape of this bottle. It was given to me as a christmas present some years ago now, by my mum.

Okay so this is the third time I have tried to send this post.
today is the 30th anniversarry of the death of Marc Feld aka Marc Bolan.
I have spent most of today listening to vinyl (the black stuff) and am still very sad.
I miss him, met him once very very briefly :-(
