Pizza with aubergine, mozzarella, basil and a bit of
tomato sauce - perfect and just 4.50 EUR. Went to a
good little unpretentious pizza place - la locanda del
grifo - it's chance that it turns out better than you expect.

try the local dish typical of this region. best bit is when you spot some Americans trying to eat thin based pizza. A bit messy when they cannot use a knife and fork. I forgot how comical it was seeing people with no aptitude with simple silverware.
