You have no idea how glad, After walking around London all day with it I was about ready to throw it into the Thames :) (And yet, this was the shortest part of its journey from NY via Canada!). It was worth it though to be able to see how happy Alfie was to get it.
edit : I'm not entirely sure they knew I was filming.

After meeting up with Alfie, we headed over to Becca's local - The
Shakespeare and had a few light ales. Then, on Wednesday, I met up
with Nick and Nell for some lunch near Spitalfields and then popped
over to Camberwell for an open day there. By the time the open day had
finished it was beginning to get dark. The London Boroughs do
Christmas lighting so much better than in Leeds, it was pretty nice to
wander through Covent Garden and down The Strand at Christmas. Just
after this shot was taken, I caught a bus and then a tube to Waterloo
to meet up with some more friends at The Riverside Bar in The National
Film Theatre (I think?). And then it was more than time to catch a
train back up to Leeds.
I did manage to make it to The NPG on time though, where there were
more photo opportunities. Lovely. I took this other really awesome
photo of a couple standing in front of this, but it was on their
camera. Becca wasn't hard to spot in her Green Jacket and bob hat, we
went to have a look at the photos submitted to the BP awards and then
caught a bus back to Stoke Newington to get some sushi.

On my way back from Camden Town I got on the wrong bus to get to The
National Portrait Gallery and despite being quite flustered with only
ten minutes until I was supposed to meet my friend Becca I couldn't
help but take a few quick pictures of this lovely view.

I made a very brief visit to London this week. One of the things I
wanted to come down and see was the collection of outsider art at "The
Museum of Everything" in Primrose Hill. I'd never been to this part of
London before and didn't know where I was going and was loaded down
with a certain Sushi set. But eventually I found the right place -
only the museum was closed. Boo. I did get to see some chocolate box
type squares and some paparazzi photographing a blonde lady with
babies getting into a car (Gwen Stefani, I think ). It was around this
time I'd remembered I'd forgotten to pack the dress I'd planned to
wear for my second day in London.
