I somehow got sidetracked (by somehow, I mean, I'm not quite sure, but, it always happens, and is how i end up in front of the comupter for 10+ hours)
and started looking up information on a theme park I'd go to when I visited my my dad's parents, in Omaha, NE.
I think my grandparents met there, actually. if not, it's surely a huge part of them getting together.
They had an outdoor dance area / it was the place for people to be.
in the 1960's, they added coasters and stuff, by the time I got introduced to it in the early 80's, it was a great, well rounded family park. pool/ water slides, etc.
annnnyway.
