Rock Graffiti

(viewed 998 times)
Wandering round a park with a friend we came across this imaginative graffiti.

A little while later we found a bench that had been labeled a c*nt.

I wonder what these inanimate objects had done to offend the graffitier so much?

Bird's Nest

(viewed 796 times)
We found this bird's nest at the allotment while hacking away at a bunch of brambles (Sorry birdies.)
Birds are awesome. This thing was so solid. How do they do it?

N.B. Phone, water bottle & shears not included with your average bird's nest.

I've Got Balls

(viewed 782 times)
Played tennis yesterday.
I love maps; they have tennis courts marked right there on the page. Within walking distance. And they were free!
First time i've really played tennis for real; i was pretty good, too. Who'd've thunk it?

Alive!

Radish, Cauliflower, Purple Sprouting Broccoli and Beetroot are all growing! Rather exciting.

Wine Making

It's really really easy. You chuck all the ingredients in a demijohn and forget about it for, oh... a year.

This was supposed to be Mango and Elderflower wine, but the elderflower we picked went mouldy before we added it and then we just... forgot about it. For a whole year. (Out of sight, out of mind?)
But we made some elderflower beer and wine this year which promted us into action on the forgotten Mango wine.
So we racked and bottle it. BeardyMan came up with the name (i wanted Mingo; ming + mango) and designed the labels.
Also, i wanted to show off my awesome charity shop wicker wine rack; £1.99? Yes please.

P.S. It doesn't taste bad, either.
